Regarding the clean cut design of the MX2 amplifier and the sophisticated layout of the circuit board, we have deliberately set crossovers and filter functions aside. Short signal paths combined with selected components “Made in Germany” ensure a pristine listening experience and underline the purists’ high-end philosophy that the BRAX MX2 was built to meet. In order to completely eliminate power differences and the need for manufacturing tolerances, we only use hand-selected transistors for the production of each MX2 amplifier. Aside from power, voltage and resistance tests, we check them against more than 300 categories to ensure that every transistor will be in perfect technical harmony. In doing so, BRAX amplifiers have obtained a worldwide status for producing the finest reference amplifies money can buy. Striving for ultimate perfection, Audiotec Fischer is the only manufacturer of audiophile products on the globe that conducts this extensive and time-consuming hand-selection process for its components. Of course, all the instruments that we need for testing are developed in-house, it’s that important to us! Two perfectly matching power supplies for positive and negative voltage feeds ensure an endlessly stable power output. The amplifier‘s maximum output power remains stable regardless of the impedance, be it 4, 2 or even 1 Ohms. In order to control voltage fluctuations, an external power stabilizer can directly be connected to the power supply. In addition, the solid terminals that are gold-plated will accommodate cables up to 50mm²! This is just another reason that you can trust in the BRAX MX2 to never let you down.
